Default Jester

Hi ho... Kids bored and getting on your nerves? You need to get them one of these Jesters. Highly entertaining and skilled, they guarantee hours of supervised glee. And if kids misbehave, the mask comes off. Works out well.

So after working on this guy ('Jester') for awhile I've lost the ability to tweak it anymore. I think I need a break. Heh. He's based on a sketch I did awhile ago that I always wanted to make 3D.

p.s., I just redesigned my personal site... The old was... old.

I like it's legs, feet and the red things which come out of his back
But i absolutely dislike his pink mask. I dont know why.

But the overall impression is nice

I love it. First feeling I get from that is a creepy one. The legs and the hook with the rope, now thats just creepy. Awesome.

I really like the arms, they creep me out... but I'm with Andre on this one, the mask looks like a bike helmet. Additionally, the lighting, although quite good, looks a bit flat to me, I don't feel a whole lot of separation between the character and the background. Maybe some subtle rim lighting?

hehe Alex you shoud'nt sketch too much else you will pass all your time bringing to life everything you draw ( joking). BTW where i can buy one of those jesters? I'd need really one to cheer me up after a summer without Maya (yep, in fact my PIII told me Maya is forbidden for it).

Anyway, the model it's very nice and texturing on the model is something gorgeous!
Maybe i just dare to say that the contact point of the shoes looks a bit funky. When you get back again the ability to tweak you could fix the rope's bump (maybe displacing it a bit) and also the texture on the ground where he has feet (it looks a bit blurred). Anyway the big version it's IMPRESSIVE!

PS Nice work on the site too (glad to see you did'nt had mustaches as kiddie )

Keep it up!
