Default October, 2012: Haunted House

Hi all...

So keeping in line with the 2D Halloween theme, but being a little more specific... come up with a creepy, scary, mysterious, ominous, rickety, freaky and simply spooky house!

Good Luck!

Edit: winners announced!

This sounds interesting. I loved Tim Burton's Corpse Bride.

I'll see what I can come up with

Greetz,

Right here in this thread. If you want to post your WIPs daily or more I would recommend you to do this somewhere else though. But your final goes right here. You can either use the forums upload function or host it somewhere else and link it here.
Check the previous months for more info.

edit: also check the contest rules here:

Good luck.

Default Haunted Asylum

Hey all,

This is my final render of my Haunted Asylum in UDK. It was inspired by all of those ghost hunter episodes and horror movies. Hope you like it. I may make some changes later but at this point I don't want to clutter the composition and Level of detail.

My goal was to tell a mini story by layering multiple elements, into the scene and letting the viewer explore the scene to reveal things they may not have seen the first time around. How many spirits/ghosts and ghostly faces can you spot?

Thanks

Default Haunted House #2

Hopefully i'm allowed to add my 2nd render. Please let me know Alex and if I have to choose one ill remove one of them but for now this is my second entry done in UDK. You can check out the behind the scene screens in the WIP thread.

This one is also inspired by ghost hunters etc, but imagine heading up to the top not knowing what to expect.

Thanks.

Why did you change it? The previous dark version was better in my opinion. This one is too bright.

And what is inside the container anyway? Zombies? Mass murderers? Chucky dolls? Puppies and kittens? I need to know!!!
