July, 2012: Forest Path

Hi all...

So with my new series of DVDs on forest techniques about to come out, I suppose we might as well explore the myriad of ways in which you guys would approach such a theme. I've been rather obsessed with this topic for the past few months and have found an intense fascination with nature, plants, trees and so on. The level of detail in reality is just maddening, but the first step is to build yourself a big library. As the theme this month is extremely vague, I expect we will see quite a bit of variety. Broadleaf, Conifer, Palm, Bamboo, plants, grass, rocks, etc...

just watched the sample videos for the new plant videos and ive gotta say i have no idea what just happened (partially because i havent used maya in 4 years :/) however I am determined to create a forest this month and earn some of those dvds so i can get back into the swing of things
