Exclamation MentalRay error

Please help me...

// Error: *Fatal* (mental ray) : mental ray encountered a fatal error. The system may have become unstable. Please save the scene and exit Maya. //

Scene have been rendered once, in following times i have this message and i can't do a new render using mr until i restart maya...

I really don't know why this happen...

Please help me...

hey

i have the same problem !

after change my mother board and my processor to dual core
something become wrong .
and i dont no what to do as well .

Did anyone encountered this problem ?

my problem was due to the sss_skin shading...
i made a new scene with a new sss and all went ok.

i really do not know what happened in the first scene...

i hope you will find out a solution...

i have in my scene skin shader to .
thanks for the advice , i going to try it right away !
