hey,

just bought this Class and downloaded it.
I was wondering if there are any 3d Scenefiles included? Because I only found the 2D plates and final renders.

Or did i overlook some links?

thanks

I am not able to release the 3d scenes as they are the assets that will be used for the final film so the ownership of them does not allow for sharing.
The short is a standalone piece so that's why I was able to share the entire shot including the footage.

Sorry for the inconvenience on this one. I did try to get it but with FOX involved as a studio, the director and I decided it would be best to avoid any possible legal entanglements.

Rob! Thanks for this DVD. It was totally your name that sold me this I'm still making a switch to v-ray and already heard your name really often in various tutorials.

Downloading my digital copy right now. It's loading surprisingly fast from Thailand

I really do! It's always great to see professional at works And your session was definitely more enjoyable than many video I've seen. And you exposed me to many to a lot of interesting stuff. Especially the RV - I've never heard about it before. Now I got mine set up to my Nuke and it looks awesome so far And how you create your own lens tool with chromatic effect . . . I remember needing plug in to do that in After Effects. Just awesome. Thanks Rob.

A quick question.

- In nuke, when a node connects out into multiple other nodes, how do you combine all the out going lines into a dot in 1 go?
- In RV, how to show exr's multi-channels? I could only find rgba and luminance. Should it be able to read all other stuff too? (gi, reflect, etc?)

1 - select the node that has outgoing connections and hit the . key done!

2 - hit x for the session manager. in the more recent builds of rv you can see the layers/channels in the exr with the session manager

Hi Rob.

Do you generally use GI ? I searched around about dealing with flickers and it it sounds like it'd put extra time on rendering.

I have yet to do time comparison.
