This page links to a video documentary of Kowloon, which some may find helpful or inspiring.

http://www.randomwire.com/future-liv...-past-extremes

Unfortunately, it is narrated in German, so you'll have an advantage if you speak German. I could only make out a few words.

Awards Showcase

Default Entry

Wow I REALLY like both topics this month, they allow me to play on the dark side ;-) It has been years since I actually finished an entry into one of these contests, but I am planning on entering both the 2d and 3d this month. I have even carved out time just for these, I am so excited to try at least, and it is always fun. More than anything I eager to see everyone's take on this particular topic. There are so many angles, directions and concepts flowing through my own mind, I cannot even dream of where everyone else will go.

Cheers and good luck everyone!

Wow, nice topic! I grew up in near Kowloon Wall city before it was demolished and turned into a park. My Grandpa always said, don't EVER go in there! Now I wished I had gone in to see. :"(

Don't forget to look at the Bloodsport movie by Van Damm, there was a whole scene that took you inside one of the allies.

Also, the traditional Chinese characters for Kowloon walled city is: 九龍城寨
You might find more references using those characters.
