Default May, 2010: The Descent

Hi all...

Sorry for the last start this month. I just got back from a two week trip to Australia and New Zealand which was really great. For those of you who live in those parts of the world, I must say that I enjoyed Melbourne and Wellington very much and I wish I could have had more time. As you may expect, the Weta Workshop is cool as hell (big thanks to Scott Spencer for showing me around!!!).

So time for a new theme and it is..... The Descent.

This has nothing to do with the movies, and the theme is completely open to interpretation. Good Luck!

edit: winners announced!

Seeing that english is not my motherlanguage...
By descent you mean like climbing down something? (would have said going down on something but my teenage brain would make me laugh)

never mind google translate gave me the translation.
For all dutch people: onderwerp is 'De afdaling'

Default Future theme.

Just a thought, since we are with great grief for the death of probably the most influential artist of out time Frank Frazetta, could there be a future contest as a tribute for his inspiration?
Just a thought.

I like your thinking richardhalo. He definitely had the biggest influence on me following fantasy illustration and fine art painting in general.
