Quick question

where is this tool at in maya 2010

that is split selected edge ring, it's under the polygon tab, under edit mesh, split polygon tool.

its not there for me? is there a key I need to press down while using the normal split poly tool? I'm on mac if that makes any difference.

You can add it to the current tab by holding down control + shift while selecting it from the menu.

lol, you should've asked, how do i add to the shelf this tool, next time be carefull what and how you ask, you waited 2-3 day to be answered a little tiny question when in this time you could've done a lil' scene.
