Smile Pandora Creature - ctriglia - WIP

Hi everybody!

This is my WIP thread for the "Pandoran Creature" contest.

(Name Pending) will be really huge. It can be ridden by the Nav'is of course and he is harmless but very strong.
------------
I will use Maya 2009 and ZBrush 3.5 R3. Rendering with mental ray

Thats "Adaptive Skin" preview of my Zpheres. The basic model isn't finish at the moment. I will add some other things to it.

Check it out

I would appreciate some comments and critics

Default My workflow and posing image

Yes, its an elephant from the Pandora jungle

This is the posing position for my scene. When I finish the base model I will retopologies it and than export it to Maya. Doing UVs and than reimport it in ZBrush and start with sculpting. Than I start with texturing. Once I'm finish with the character I will create the environment in Maya.

Any suggestions or comments?

Hello! I like what you have done so far, i only think that being the final pose it should be more dynamic, more life like, something less symmetrical. That`s all for now, best of luck.

Thank you for your comment PpzeK,

I will break the symmetry when I start sculpting (Transpose).

Looking good! I like the multiple eyes - have considered adding some more - like a spider? Also the trunks are very good. Might be nice to have some thorny protusions on the leg armour as this would certainly help deter predators. Great work.
