Default navi jet ski

Hello Gnomon community!! this is my first ever contest that i have entered in, so im geekin out, and really excited becuase Avatar is was a amazing movie. So on to my concept, i figured if i was navi i would have a kickass pandoran jetski haha, but i watted the design to follow the lines of a dire horse that the navi could ride on top of the water, it can go under water, but the driver has to hold there breath. ill be workin on it some more and im currently running rig and animation test, so thank you every best of luck!!!

Default navi jetski head bust

When i look at the all the animals in pandora, they all have some sort of intake system the injects thier oxygen into their lungs, so I tryed to pull a Neville Page, and gave it my best shot!!!

Default Navie jetski update

Hello Gnomon community, I am very excited for that I have over come some of my artistic challenges that I set out before even starting this project!! And thank you all, I am new to this type of posting my work, this whole process as been great experience for me to really push myself to the next level of my work. OK so on to my update, I have been doing a lot of research on seahorses and squids, and the way the jetski moves swiftly through the water, is that side tenticals flipers move in and out while the top fliper moves up and down to create force and propel its self forward. While since the jetski does not eat through its mouth but rather through its beak in the middle of its three tenticals. Ill be posting more work as the contest draws to close. So good luck to everyone excited to see what you guys been doin!!

Default stayin up late gettin the job

Yep pulled an all nighter trying to flesh out more of the head, my theroy of how it smells is through its check through tiny pin holes that absorbed the smell and transver into its breathing intake on the side of its neck.

Default Navi Jetski Jets

So I came up with some final ideas, and thought of way to integrate Jets on the back of the three tentacle flippers, that when they fly open they suck water into the each sucker, then with a snap back at midpoint center, creating a biological jet flow!!
