Default Pandoran Sea creature

I posted this in the wrong forum initially and I do apologize. Here is a quick sketch for a Pandoran sea creature. Thinking of adding limbs to keep the integrity of the design.
How many is the question...a mixture of Manta Ray, bat, and jaw hinged on the side (saloon door style). Well a lot of work ahead... thanks for the feedback

Default The Hinged Jaw

Trying to flesh this out. The hinged jaw reveals 1 set of eyes and articulated tentacles for pray capture...Need more eyes more tentacles ...more of everything. One more pass and time to retopo. Would appreciate feedback
thanks

Thanks. Yes, did not notice any underwater creatures in the film and decided to go for it.

Hey, Licar!
Interesting creature You got here. I do not really like its shape though. To me it kinda reminds batman. Maybe it is just a matter of taste. Anyway the head is really cool. I think it should be seen very close in final shot.
Waiting for more! Good luck!

Toha, the name is from ancient Hindu. I think it means sea ( sagara) monster (sura), it works nicely I think.
Grubber, thanks. I see what you mean, especially when I see the silhouette in the last photo. Hopefully the next sculpt with the retopo mesh will be more inspiring. The added limbs will also break that bat/Manta look. I hope.

Default More concept or not....

Read somewhere that the creatures were based on F1 design, biuld for speed. Ineed to rethink my concept I think.
