Hi everyone this is my first concept painting of a character I want to bring to life.
But I need further guidances especially from pros from this forum too.

hey guys which highlight for the armor is better

The armor has its edges weathered a little so I was guessing that the armor's highlight would be broken up a little.

It's hard to find references for this in reality.

One thing that could help you: use a dark grey background to adapt specularity and reflections on your painting.
