Default WIP, Control Room (first time entering!)

So I've decided to enter this month's contest; it's my first time entering one here.

Below you will find a quick WIP shot of my entry.

It's basically going to be a sophisticated penthouse wired floor to ceiling with monitors and gadgetry, at least that's how it will appear on first-look, but as the objects that will eventually fill in the space become more noticeable, it will be a hard-core gamer-setup.

Anyways, here's where I'm at so far:

looks very cool so far, what is the room going to control?

may I suggest a giant Mech, behind the glass?

As for the picture window, it's my goal to have it overlooking a city-scape. And though I like the mech idea, I have something slightly different in mind.

Anyways, here's a quick update, the second picture will start to give an idea of what types of 'gadgetry' this space will be filled with.

Here's another quick update, now I'm trying to figure out how to incorporate people. There's no time for me to create any (since I'm not a character artist), but I'm thinking of using the Biped Skeletal forms to simply look like representations of people, which may work for what I'm trying to convey anyways.

My last WIP before I complete my entry:



I think I'll be removing the 2 robots in the center and just leave the one looming over the city (and the one to the side.

Give me some comments!

I think you may try different camera angles and apertures...
I also can try different type off illumination, what I try to do in my renderings is hide in shadows the poor aspects and illuminate reinforcing the good ones!
