Default Puppet Rig IK/FK won't follow each other

I've gotten through the 1st and 2nd part of the arm rig videos and when he's done with the FK setup, he rotates his arm in FK and the IK follows...mine does not when I rotate in FK only the FK joints move I can see the IK joints just sitting there. The same happens if I switch to IK and move the controls, the FK joints just sit there. It seems something by default is turned on/off? or somehow I've lost/missed some kinda constraint for both IK/FK? Any help would be much appreciated, kinda frustrating right now.

Having the same problem, but his rig does the same thing. If you open up one of the project files that comes with the tutorial, move the arm with ik, then switch to fk and you'll see the arm jump to the fk position.
