Hi folks!

Just making a creative dumping ground to get a feel for various opinions out there.

Hope it's enjoyable!


First up, it's Slouchy!

Blocking out the body:

Giving a bit of flavor to his feet. (sounds gross, right?!)

Adding in some detail:

Finishing up the head and the face. Not going too far with details.

Threw on some color to see if I like where it's going... I do!

Working on the face's geometry a bit now. I don't like his expression.

Changed the facial expression, changed the colors, attached the limbs, added joints, minimally weighted. Whee!

hey man, i really like your style with this guy! very cartoon-esk and lots of personality. something you can work on (i'm sure you were already going to do this) is to fix up the texture on the eyes. a simple UV plane should make it really easy to texture them with a simple psd. or if your feeling adventurous even do a proper spherical uv set and sew it all together

Hey Jobo, thanks for the response; comments are always welcome and appreciated!

This guy will most definitely have more detail, especially because he'll be right in the foreground. I recently purchased UVLayout - so I may be taking the more adventurous route =)
