Default A Mallard's Ripple Ballad

A solitary bird releases a solitary ripple, which has the opportunity to reproduce and create a rhythmic flow of ripples.

Default here I go again

Ok so here is the b&w rough up of the idea that I am going for on this months contest. Please feel free to mark it up with any suggestions I am still totally new to all of this but I am hungry to learn.

I like the idea I came up with I hope its obvious enough. Im spending a long time on the grayscale just because I have problems with values a lot, I think from only ever sketching in b&w as a child and never messing with color so I have some screwy fundamentals.

Good luck all.

p.s. I may have double posted or they may be a problem with the thread since I tried posting yesterday but it didnt seem to take. If I double posted then it's my wifes fault.

Post Interesting topic!

Very interesting topic! It has been a while since I last participated in the Gnomon challenge. I'd definitely like to participate in this month's challenge!
