October, 2008: Graveyard
Hi all.
So Halloween is near, the days are getting shorter, the weather is getting colder and death is in the air. Do the dead trick or treat, walking from crypt to crypt collecting goodies such as worms, flesh and bone? Perhaps...

Oh, wow. What a can-of-worms the subject is! I'm excited to say the least, and thrilled to actually have a full month-ish to tackle the topic.

Hi all...
Please read the updated contest rules announcement:
We decided today to add a THIRD monthly contest for digital sculpting to be hosted by Ryan Kingslien. As a result, each month there will now be TWELVE winners instead of eight (four per category). In order to do this, however, we had to make a change to the prizes. The change doesn't affect the 3rd/4th place winners, but it does affect 1st and 2nd. We hope you understand, but we felt that more categories/ winners would be a better opportunity for the community.

my skill isn't at competition level, but participating gives me a little direction. it's like being in a class and completing assignments, but you get dvds for these! not sure if i'll submit, because my work rarely seems good enough to leave my sight, but i'll try to produce something.

ha i think it is funny cause i have been trying to figure out which 50 dvd's i would want and ran out at 20

It used to be 40, 20, 10, and 5. You must have been planning on winning 1st and 3rd place 
I'm guessing it will be 20, 15, 10, and 5 now.
