So the winners have been selected...
Congratz to everyone who participated, as everyone really made us happy with all of the amazing entries. We will be contacting the winners via email.

Please don't try to read our minds on why we selected who we did... we tried to find work that was creative, imaginative, well composed, well lit, and that showed a lot of potential for artist growth. We also tried to strike a balance between work that looked utterly profesional, and work that was almost there. Trust me, part of me wanted to just give everyone a prize, but we unfortunately can't. I did however decide to add three more winners. Instead of the original four, we now have seven winners! Thanks so much for participating, and we look forward to continuing to see more of your work... it truly inspires and motivates us.

The October contest thread will be posted very soon.

Here's 2 pieces I recently drew on some cardboard using a Bic pen and a brown and white colored pencil.

Here are my entries - great to see you finally put up some forums.

This one's finished at the moment, but I may take it a bit further a bit later.

Default my entry

Hy this is my entry for the contest
its my wery first 2D digital artwork of this kind
(im used to draw/ilustrate childrens book, caricatures)
im usualy make my fantasy characters from clay
i decided to use as reference one of my figurines
that i have made when i was in the army
i decided to transpose this "3D" figurine into 2D
whit my brand new Wacom intuos3 tablet
that i bought from my 3month salary (i have a "great job" )
i realy liked and enjoyed to work on this piece for soo much that for 3 days i didnt went to my job
and realy like how my figurine is looking now in hes new enviorment and outfit
i made 2 variantions of the picture
one whit the base idea
and one whit some of my characters that were banned/censored out
from some of my artworks because of some "wery nice people"
the image title came at this point (when i put my "uncensored" characters in the image)

P.S
you can view my entry in better quality at this link:
