Concept1 Fortress in water above the clouds...


Concept2 Flying Oriental Dragon Boat above clouds


here's 2 parts uploading rest now

i have multiple camera angles
just wanted to make the money shot camera angles posts before deadline...

here's some wire frames of the flying dragon boat fortress palace thing i just edited into this post...




yah i know... kinda low res... its a proxy for a bigger project... =P but hey it sure did look cool in that render didn't it LoL =)

and my friends said i should have put the day time shot instead of the magic hour one... oh well i know contest is over so i'll just show you a comparison...

The deadline closed about 10 hours ago according to the timer on my thread. And it says stop posting, judging has began

Is this not the case? Or does it differ around the world?

EDIT: BTW im not asking this to try and get people D'Qed. I just want to know for future reference.

No you are correct. The time counted down, so the end is everywhere the same. That was the good thing after the problems when it was not decided, when the final day ended. .)

try setting your time and date on your pc or mac a couple of days- or hours- back, and reload the page with the counter

AH HA!!!...I get it now. I've set my computer back and I've got 3 days left before the deadline...COOL!!!...lol

My PC is set at UK GMT+0. (This is the real time. Because time was invented in the Greenwich by Mr Mean... ).

So in fact the deadline has not been yet? Thanks for clearing that up. Still suits me that I have to finish ahead of time anyway.

actually....so which part of the world does the deadline stop. The USA?

Well it stops everywhere the same. You mean which is the refference time? LA time (USA) of course, because Gnomon is seated there.

...its 18:00 pm GMT (as i post this)

(gets the calculator out...)

That means in L.A. its 10:00 am (Good morning people )

My last question was meant to be:

At what time in L.A. does the competition finish?

NOTE: This is something Admin might want to add to the rules page or the opening page of the competition thread.

Well does the timer not end at the same timer everywhere else?

Anyway, the judges might want to take note of this.
