Default my first post and pic:

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...dous-class.jpg

this is my first concept design,

Myself i mainly work in traditional rather then digital. I'm still getting used to digital and i'm not fully comfortable with it.

Do you HAVE to know digital? Thats a question i'd like to see answered by any professionals out there because i am struggling with digital and i dont enjoy it half as much as a good sketch.

I agree, I am the same. I have tried digital, but i get angry at people for doing photorealistic stuff, as you may aswell do photomanip.

Anyway... I like your picture and id like to see more.

You'd be smart to learn it because of speed. It saves loads of time and the industry want artists who can produce work fast.

Speed comes with lots of practice so don't worry or feel threaten about it.

Of course some pros use traditional mediums like prisma marker, pen, and pencil still. But you won't see many concept artists today use wet traditional mediums.

And as for learning things like digital, just stick with it. If you're still learning digital, then chances are that you still have a lot to learn before you get the hang of it and can do it with ease. Try checking out dvd's like Intro to Corel Painter. It'll help you with the basics of the program and you can watch how Ryan Church uses the program when he makes a painting.

Hi, guys.
I just begin to build a forum. In my opinion, this forum is designed to discuss certain technical questions, and also collect useful tips or articles. even i am also doing SEO of my own developed siteswith the keywords like pet portraits, Dog portraits, pop Art etc. There can be a problem of finding the forums. I think you can better find the results through goggle. These you can got most of the forums as well as content writting techniues.

I want to amass some relarted articles from different communities, froums or blogs. After editing, if needed, add them to my froum.

Are there any problems on copy right or search engine?

For your first concept designs this really looks good.

The only advice I would give is to use more 'fast' lines. The actual linework looks like it was done very slow which shows in the image. Try more fast lines like Feng Zhu for example. It will bring your concept art to another level.

best,

Chris
