Since everyone is already posting to every other forum on the entire internet, I racked my brain all day yesterday to come up with something unique and here's the result:
Mobile advertising! I've been driving around the valley like crazy lately looking for a new apartment, and what better way to spread the word than to have this screaming at all the other L.A. commuters while I'm stuck in traffic? Over the next couple weeks, this car is going to be everywhere from Thousand Oaks, to Burbank, to Little Tokyo, to Staples Center, to LAX, to Long Beach. I've got some flyers on the side windows with the rest of the details and I'll try to post some more pics in daylight.
In case anyone is wondering, these are window clings that I made by hand using some fabric paint and a lot of patience. Here are a couple more shots:
In progress: There is a printout of my design taped to the inside of the window, but since the glass is curved the text dropped down on the sides, so I ended up only using it for spacing and I used that fancy shoelace as my level.
Of course, I'm also doing the obligatory Facebook
(click here), Twitter, and forum posts, but I won't bore everyone with all those right now, since I'm hoping my car takes the cake
Flyers are also going out to my local Menchies and all the boba places I can find and I'll post some pics of those later this week. Honk if you spot me driving around!!!

but after I saw the post on facebook about the free ticket I was like really happy and said I'd do this and really try my best to have this opportunity, I downloaded the campaign materials and started campaigning... Id post some update soon... Thanks for this wonderful opportunity
