Default February, 2017: Living armor

Your armor protects you in many ways both physically and spiritually. This month’s challenge is to create Living Armor that connects with your being and is made of something organic. It can be plant, animal, insect, a combination of all, etc. Remember, it must be able to protect you under the most severe conditions!

All entries are due February 28th 11:59PM PST. Any entries submitted after this will not be accepted, no exceptions. Good luck!

Default Crustation Human Exoskeleton

For this theme, I wanted to go with a bio-engineered crustation that a human wearer uses as an armored exoskeleton and physical enhancement system. I am basing the design off of prototype military exoskeleton systems and mixing it with creature designs of crabs and insects. Here are some thumbnails exploring a few design ideas, any feedback is welcome.
