From my understanding, you can put two in. As for how they would judge, they would probably pick your best piece. If you had two pieces and say one was 1st place worthy and the other was 3ed place worthy, they would probably chose the 1st place one and forget the 3rd place one so that others have a chance. That's my guess on how they would judge. Don't quote me on it.

Here's my entry. "Deep Trouble"

Big fishy beast created in ZBrush, Submersible built in Cinema4D, and the whole lot comped together with Photoshop (and a spot of Painter).

so I don't know about you but when ever i'm in the water i get a felling that there's something behind, underneath, somewhere so close that i could touch it if i wanted but i can't see it and it's too fast to even try to loose it. i don't know about u but the water can gemme lots of chills, u never know where you're gonna step and you're so slow swimmin... the perfect prey....

Nice jellyfish metalpiss

I have been working on my 3D project for this theme from the first when it launched and I also a jellyfish in it, and damn its not easy like I though, but you did a good job ! (still din't finish it so have to wait to upload it)

Only critic I might gife is that the...(not sure how to say it) the arms of the jellyfish might gife them more different movement?

this is my first try (don't laugh please)

made in XSI, ZB, PS

I started the design from some sort of anger fish and then TRIED (capital letters) to add some sea-serpent(scales and membranous parts) and oceanic-fish (light-glands) features ...i wanted to recreate the feeling of some deep ocean pics of fishes surrounded by...well, nothing... only black, then added some sort of weak ambient and volumic because the pure black solution seemed a bit poor

oh yes, I know what you mean. I thought about doing that, but unfortunately I was too lazy to render it again for it took a whole night (and yet it still has some little noise left in it). Laziness will be the death of me :P

I know how you feel Rendering makes you so sleepy...sometimes I just hit exit during the render and do something usefull instead of zZz.
But its looks nice anyway with or not my point
