I usually just kinda shoot from the hip on whatever comes to mind, but this time I'm going to take the time to do some concept work. I hate bugs! This guy really creeps me out. It's kinda a combo of a slug, beetle and crab. It drags itself across the ground by those bis legs that project out in front. I plan on really trying to show the belly as red and irritated and the back and legs as hard shells. I might be pushing this one a bit too far to the insect side, but...oh well. Did I mention how much I hate bugs? Awful.
