Default Question about image size

So I am new to the contest and wondering, what size the images have to be (in pixels) to fulfill the requirements for the contest.

Can someone help me with this?

Cane_ you can obviously make the pictures any size you want but the submission should probably be around 800 pixels wide and not more than 600 pixels high to avoid high loading times for people with dialups etc.

Are we allowed to send multiple images?

And in case you wouldn't be ok with using photo elements in the works:

Default Cliff Dwellers

Gorgon and Zola

The plan worked to perfection, Breehemoth, unleashed his pneumatically assisted whipper arm and plucked Zola from the air. The shock on Zola's body was immense, his eyes bulged and his sausage roll super thrusters, deprived of much needed airflow, whined in protest. He was fast losing consciousness. The red world blurred and greyed at the edges and all sound receded in a rapidly closing mental fog.

The Breehemoth opened its jaws in delight and cast victorious glance down at Zola, no more would these free flyer, cliff-dwellers, disrupt operations at red hill. His last thought was a brief concern as to the whereabouts of Zola's partner, Gorgon. The distraction had worked, The excitement registered by the Breehemoth, had momentarily diverted power from its dome shield and Gorgon punched through the soft tissue, his internal processors and deft pink fingers worked at light speed, to sever and remove the Breehemoth's core controller, its brain.

Zola dropped from lifeless fingers, his motors roared into life on auto pilot and took him up to a safe altitude, where he came round to see Gorgon next to him. Gorgon and Zola roared off into the red sky with cheesy grins plastered over their faces.

Often after I have completed an illustration, a story, or part of one, suggests itself and I like to add it - you never know there might be a book in there somewhere

thanks for advice guys

Cheers for now
Tom
