Awards Showcase

it's weird why so many of you guys have had the same idea....you need to be thinking outside of the box...a lot of the entries in my opinion have been 'obvious'....you know what i mean....sorta like, what everyone would picture if they heard the term alien incubator etc.

Even though some of the entries still look awesome...i want to see things that are out of the norm....and i hope that is what the talented judges on Gnomon want too....i mean, ALL of them would have been able to think of a glass tube as a concept....and create something like it in 3d at the highest standard....I thikn they want to be surprised.

So Try something weird (although there isn't too much time left)....and having said that, i hope mine is 'odd' enough. LOL.

I defiantly want you to post your work!!

What you say is so true Gaf, and I am one of those who made what you are talking about, a thing that is so ordenary.

So WHY` do you say it so late in the contest

We need geniuses like you to say such a thing early

But thanks anyway, coz now i will think about it next time

XD hensleyb, that is a great idea. In that same vein, remember in second or third grade when the class would hatch an egg in the class, well same idea, but it's all little chicks and the teacher hen crowded around a human embryo type thing. I'd love to see that. Or a school bus, with all kinds of crazy going on inside, those bus rides were incubators for all kinds of insanity... but I digress, that is my favorite hensleyb, nice job.

Good eye GAF. I'll work on the chair and post something later today.

Thanks DanielAMV. I like your idea, chicks in class growing a human. That would be funny and a little twisted. You should get to it. There are only a few days left!

Default Almost there

Just a little more, and then the creatures?

------------------------------------------

Ok no creatures, just a beauty. And a little more stuf aroud the room, comming up.

Just wish! I knew anything about texturing, this shading is not so good.... But I guess itīs ok.

---------------------------------------------------

So this is it, if I do not change it. But think this is what I got.

In a lab, deep beneath the eartsī suface. A man is trying to create what he thinks would be the perfekt woman.

Hey everyone!

Since I usually make all of my images dark and dirty I wanted to do something clean and bright for a change.

It's pretty simple for once, but I think it's got it's own beauty somehow.

So this is my entry, even though I feel like it's kinda pointless to post it along with the stuff we've seen so far.

However, it was kinda fun and I learned a little bit about glass and raytracing.

Anyway, enjoy!

Feel free to comment

Alex
