Awards Showcase

Exclamation

I am eligible or not ?

me from India.

I am not bothered about winning DVDS (though I would love to have them),

I am more interested in displaying my current works here.

also all the other artists designs posted here will help me improve my creativity

Hope to be a part of this community for a long time.

Thanks

Default I have never posted an image before.

Question:

Is this where someone adds an image for the contest or is there a special place where we are supposed to post?

Sorry, new at this!

Default Winning

I'm knew to the forum and that's probably why I'm asking this.

Can someone who has already won or placed in the contest compete and win or place again in a later month?

Default I am late in arriving to this forum and contest...but

yep
just a dab bit late signingup...I hope i can still qualify to post and be a part of the contest. I will jump in with the assumption that this is a true statement. Here is my entry.

it is a picture of a sea dragon and comes from my cgsociety portfolio page

hope you like and this commentary is succinct enough

Maybe this will help some of you out. Each month there is a new contest here, and it has it's own thread devoted to placing your artwork. The contests usually have themes that Mr. Alvarez gives you at the beginning of the contest, that you create a piece of artwork for. See the January 2007: Tunnel thread in the 2D Images forum for the current contest. That is where you should post entries for the January competition. Hope that helps.

i wanna ask cause i read this thread (okay , real fast) and couldn't
find it, can these contest images be matte paintings? can they be built
of photographs alone with almost no actual paintwork?

just wanna know how this works and i'm allowed to do

these contests open for squibbits?

Moro Squibbit!

I guess it's ok to build a matte painting mainly of photos. There's been many matte paintings in these contests and some of them have also been awared. I think I'll try and do one too this month.

Skaba kumpi voittaa enemm?n devareita?!
