the timer is an awesomely excellent thing! Timers motivate me for some reason...
I'm determined to finish this time! I finished last year for the jully challenge (just barely, had almost 2 sleepless nights), I'll finish this year too!!

I save my renders from Maya as a tiff and then bring them into Photoshop, for any touchup if needed, then use the save for web feature. This will optimize the image. I can't remember what the max sizes are for posting images, though. Oh, I also use a free Photobucket account for any images I put in threads. Not sure if that actually answered your question.

Once again, probably as far as I'm going to be able to take this due to time.

Originally I was planning on having a bridge leading up to a "church" on an island in the clouds to give it a bridge to eternity feel, however decided to change to manmade islands connected by bridges. The culture chose to have the first island contain their religious center in hopes that no evil should pass. Also granting the culture the name of Olympus of Mare (Heaven of Sea).

Edit: Updated it a bit

Really cute idea christopher!

If I could suggest you something, it will be to pay more attention to your foreground stone, maybe add a more detailed map or change the shader, this one is maybe too shiny, don't know what you think about that?

And maybe give more differents poses to the hants which are holding a leaf.

Otherwise that's a good stuff, I really enjoy your water and grass shader, and of course the idea!

Nice one!
