So here's the comp I still have some pretty serious color correction to do. A couple of notes, all the textures (except normal maps) are gray scale, the tones and color variations are provided by my lighting setup. The downside of this of course is that the lower portion of the platform is significantly darker then the rest of the render.

Again, love critique and suggestions. Feel free to leave some.

Interesting approach. I never tried it.

Now on the render. I really do not like the angle of camera (maybe its just me). One of the poles is in front of portal. And it competes with portal. Its not clear thats should be in focus, the pole or portal. Just my thoughts.

Your right, as I looked at, then looked away from the image, my eyes did continue to settle on that pillar, rather then the over all movement from bottom to top. It stops the flow of the composition. Now....... lets see what I can do to fix it.....

can I suggest putting some writing on the swords... doesn't have to be legible..

something to give the impression that from here on, the management will take no responsibility for any damage done to anything, you enter here at your own risk and mind the step
