Awards Showcase

Default Church Ruin

I went more with a abandoned church theme with overgrown vines. I am not sure it this image is allowed in this competition because I did model some of this in Maya for the base image and then I painted over a lot in photoshop.

I am not fully happy with the vines, dirt and destruction, so I may work on this some more if I have time before the month is over. But for now here is my image for this months competition.

Thanks for checking it out

Default Anchient Ruins

Here is one more image I have for this competition. Once again, I dont know if it is allowed in this forum because I did use Maya to create the 3D base for this image, but I did a lot of paint over in photoshop. As well I am not sure if I am allowed to post more then one image per challenge, but I did read somewhere that you can post 1-2 images. Anyway I hope I am not breaking any rules.

Enjoy!

this is my attempt ,though I have seen some amazing entries good luck to all.

as a side note I am aware of my lack of knowledge of perspective , color theory, and my obvious inability to draw foliage and textures lol

any constructive comments and tips welcome..

Pencil work in progress of my second challenge in years.
A temple made of wood and contorted live trees with an ancient stone altar.

The girl is an unassuming tribute to the Grand Master illustrator Frank Frazetta.

Hope you like and hope i can finish it before the end of the challenge.
