Default Mountain Temple WIP

Hi

Here is my concept - drawn on post-its during a staff meeting - who listens in those anyway.

BTW - the pagoda is based on the design of the pagoda in Fantastic 4 (Silver Surfer)

tx

update:

Mountains and trying different things for cloud base.

Metaballs killed my pc and a plane with a noise modifier looks like... well... a plane with a noise modifier.

I think I will stick with particles for the clouds.

Nice... the plane with larger noise could work with a few layers stacked with alpha .. might be worth a try.

That is actually not a bad idea - do you think the light and shadows will be fine where the meshes interact?

I've been getting good results with the particles and will upload more images shortly.

Here are some progress updates. Refining the cliff in the foreground and testing different light setups. I am busy rendering a preview and will post it as soon as it is done.
