Awards Showcase

Well heres my entry, i knew watching dances with wolves would catch up with me at some point....

And i have to say in future i'll be checking out what other people are doing before i decide whether or not to bother...i mean how many of these works could easily be an imagineFX feature? that goes double for yoshi mazaki....dude should be making a gnomon tutorial dvd nevermind entering a comp to win some.

Not mine for sure. The guys at ImagineFX don't like me, they don't reply to my emails, they don't follow my advice on the forums, and they still haven't sent me the "Star Letter" prize from May 2006.

I tried to reach them several times to different emails. They don't care. So, next month it will be my last issue in the subscription I made with them, and I will not renew it, although I said I would even with such treatment from their side. But that was before I realized the price of 2D Artist in comparison, and 2DA even has the feature of not taking space in my shelves where I need it for books... and Gnomon DVD's

Take care.

Ricardo.

Default Not all is lost

Holy smokes Yoshi! That is.. nice...! What an act to follow...
All in all, intimidatingly great stuff in this thread.
I'm new to 2D, have been making 3D for many years, and this challenge is a great motivator to get working!
I've already received help from a Ryan Church DVD to create this image, which is a picture that popped into my head when I saw this months theme.
Upon making it the idea grew and came to be "Not all is lost"...a sort of love story
Feedback is greatly appreciated!
All Painter without references. Except moon which is rendered in Maya.

And a detail from the highres version...

Enjoy and best of luck to all!
Comments... yes, please
