Default April, 2017: Sky Castle

This month's contest theme is Sky Castle! The trick is, how does your castle fly? Is it a floating dystopia through steampunk technology, is it powered by magic in a fantasy realm, or could It be powered by futuristic technology? You decide!

edit: Winners Announced!

Default Sky Castle

This is my design of a Sky Castle: I tried to think about how it might float, how transportation would work, and the life there in the kingdom. I hope you like it!

Default Sky castle by Koso

Here is my entry for this challenge. I went Sci-Fi again... well it is a future live on earth. none. The mankind has moved to the ship, they build to survive. They call it the Sky castle. It is huge ring structure, that goes around the whole earth. people live there because the oxigen is less toxic in that height and they can survive. Since it is a ring, it rotates around the Earth as our Moon for example, the gravity keeps it above the ground and the rotation creates gravity on the ship as well (the same idea as it works on ISS and other space stations) hope you like my concept!
