I've wanted to join in for a while now, so I thought I'd make a go of it. So this is my first post AND my first ever digital painting.

Thanks for looking!

Okie. A few hours late but with warehouse work had no time to do it. So don't hate!

Well I started off in Maya just to practice modeling and then painted over.
4 hours, Photoshop CS3

Hope you likes. Also attached the progress.

10:58 PM, yay! I had very little time this month, so my first concept sketch I decided not to go with as it would take too long (perhaps I can finish it another time) - but I did get to color this sketch which I have meaning to get back to for about 6 months now.

She's not -intentionally- evil persee, she just has a habit of killing people and blowing up city blocks as she has no inhibitor between her subconcious and reality. (Mary/Nightmare is a character from one of my worlds that is decidedly more 'superheroes' in flavor) This is her character splash page, as the original character design I did for her I noticed later was decidedly boring. (My fault for always drawing chracters standing up...)

11:08 now. ^.^ Whew...

Program: Artweaver (Digital coloring of pencil drawing)
Favored digital project tools: Airbrush, acrylics, felt tip pen

Updated 11:27 pm (added sky and minor changes)

Edited 11:45 pm (fixed hardlight layer because of sky!)

Default Evil Child - The Doomed

Heh! There are some great entries for this

Here's mine. It's a bit darker than normal for me and not finished, but here it is.

The Doomed

Stinky! I'm a bit late Maybe the mods will have mercy on me... please?

EDIT: Wow! It has a lot of mistakes and oversights. Oh well... too late now.

Default Evil boy

Wow, some of these are brutal. I believe taunting with a smelly sock may be the most evil. Great entries. My kid is just hanging out, thinking about it.

wow some mighty fine entries so far.
great job everyone!

I already have my winning pick:

HotBoz.

brilliant piece. you`re a true storyteller.
great idea, compositon, execution, the characters, the subtle gestures and nuances...
and the lighting is awesomely done as well.
my favorite part is the little girl`s expression - it`s so spot on you can`t help
but read her mind. you can actually hear a thought forming.

a perfect win.
