Awards Showcase

Default Seductive, attractive, addictive - deadly !

Hi everyone, glad to be back after months without entering the contest. Great entries as always !
So, here is my contribution, I hope I'm not too late as the countdown isn't here this month, I wish I could push it a little further but well, that will be it...

Good luck everyone !

this is showing way more desaturated on my laptop display rather than my dell so hopefully it shows up alright for you all. no ladies in my painting. just gothic architecture which is beautiful by itself.

Default gothic beauty

I'm pretty sure I should stop working on this now and call it a day. Lots of great entries this month. Good luck!

Default I ran out of time

I figure i would go for the horror beauty angle from gothic literature. The story is this magical mirror lures victims in that suffer from vanity and keeps them there for ever. In the mirror reflection the victim sees themselves eternally youthful but in reality they are withering away. I would have loved to spent more time on this.

Default Gothic Beauty - Reading distracted

There are definitely some nice entries this month. I'm surprised no body did the historical Goths. I thought about it but didn't have/take the time to paint it.

At last this month I have something decent to enter
Thanks to my friend, Rachel, for allowing me to use her as photo reference.

Distracted Reading

EDIT:
Here's a detail of her face:
