Jaybird: Ofcourse its a beautiful image, and the detail contrast has nothing to do with the reality so does the theory about things get less saturated in the distance + lighter. It has to do with your artistic license of chaning things how we want it as the most artist actually do on a daily basis. Less detail in the surrounding will bring more focus to what really matters. Take it or leave it, its only critics. Its pretty funny to see how all artist these days are so focused of making images that 100% uses the #foreground, middleground, and background values concept.. Sure its working and i use it alot myself, but its not always that simple, and most often it will give you a foggy effect since the air most often isnt that thick anyways. Its an easy way to convey depth but dont get caught in it as ive been and probably still are.

Here's my go. Still would like to work more on it, but time's up. The pose is inspired by a Degas painting... Hope its not too late! Better late than never. Looking forward to next month anyway!
