Hello! I am taking a Maya rigging class at my local community college. The teacher is obviously very smart, and knows the subject well, but he is talking way over my head.
I took Maya about 3 years ago, and learned a little modelling. I was hoping the teacher would open with a review of the tools, but he launched into detali about the rig itself, and the how the parent moves the child.
I don't want to drop out, and think if I get a good basic rigging book, and perhaps a very basic rigging DVD, I might be able to survive the class.
HELP!
