Default Park Sculpture


Finally I got some spare time to do some personal work. I loved the freedom of this topic and decided to give it a try.
Unfortunately, I didn't find the location I was hoping to find in time.
I wanted to put the sculpture in a abandoned storage and create a more mysterious and moody scene with lots of light action and so on..

I ended up with the park close to my job.
I shot a HDRI map using tripod and a 8mm . I think it was around 12 or 13 stops and 4 angels, I think It would worked with only 3 but to be sure I shot 4 angels, every 90 degree.

The sculpture is sculpted in Zbrush, rendered in Max with Vray, Mari for texturing.
It was comped in Nuke and photoshop for adding more texture details and adjusting minor things like removing people and so on.. I experimented with using Lightroom for the final touch.
I thought of it as a photo and I adjusted clarity, vibrancy and added some sharpening and I was surprised how well it worked. Definitively going use that again! Try it if you already haven't!
