I revised an image that I placed here a few months back labled "Block Island". I wasn't too happy with the results so I decided to go back and change the mood and composition. Modeled in Viz2006, rendered with Maxwell, and post production work was completed with Photoshop.

i havent seen the one u were refering to really but yeh this one is really nice... ok one thing i noticed, thats u needed to make the scene a lil dim so at to highlite the lightening..... cuz ur pic s knida shining and the lightening jus blending with the envt.
but all in all i loved the pic.. the building is beautiful...

You just have to change the color of the "sun" to more blueish because you have a stromy weather.
And make it just a bit darker.But i think that if you change the sun color to the correct one it will solve the issue with your objects overexposure look.
