cool picture hangin above the couch. like that.
so here the suggestions.
the floor's toooooo shiny
is the table black, i mean black hole black??? also the left space between couch and wall (from couch point of view). there is no light.
and for now, the edge of the left (again c pov) armrest need little bit o bevel.

Hello toonchazer,
Yep like BadG3r said, the floor is too reflective. I am not sure about the black circular patch in front of the couch. It looks like something was excluded from camera but not from atmospherics and reflections in rendering. Add a little bit of bump on the walls so that it will not be so 'flat'.
Some points to refer to when doing interior scenes in terms of lighting.
Is it a day scene or a night scene?
Are there any windows?
Where are the lights positioned and what kind of lights?
The table in the center fore ground kind of divide the view into 2. Weird composition.

hies...
i have the same commentss on it. the floor.. and perhaps you want to put some texture like bump mapping on it, esp the woods and the sit there, so that it looks mroe realistic

is there a GI or FG enabled in the scene? because it looks like it doesn't - maybe you should look into it.
