Hi here is a piece I've been working on for a shading/lighting challenge over on cgtalk. I used zbrush's awesome projection master and zapp-link to do all the texturing and some tweaks to the base mesh provided in the challenge. any C&C welcomed, Thanks...

wow! i like man.. how did you do the eyelash? can you give us a little tutorial?

thx's chandro, I did the eyelash's with shave and haircut rendering them out with MR hair primitives. I've been meaning to make some tutorials when I get some time.

chandro for the skin I used a custom skin shader I wrote for Mental Ray, Texturing all done using zbrush.

Very nice work. I'd recommend allowing a little more subsurface scattering to show through in that deep shadow between the eye and eyebrow.
Also, I'd second a tutorial on how you did the eyelashes. Something tells me it's so simple it's retarded but I guess I just haven't put enough thought into a workflow for that yet.
