Hi,

This is my first post here. I want to know how I can solve the jagged shadow of the door? What would be the right setting to this?

Here's a brief info:

Program: 3ds max
Light source: photometric IES sun

Thanks

I don't see a picture of a door or anything, but I would just say from my experience, and your description, raise the resolution of the shadow map from 512 to 1024, 2048,....
you get the idea

Oh, here's the pic...

and the corrected one with different sun angle and floor material...I cant use shadow map as I'm using photometric IES sun, I must use ray traced shadow. anyway I was able to correct the problem by using maxstar2.5 within the supersampling parameter under raytracer.
