hi

if you work on maya you can test pain effect, you convert the tree on polygon and you can modify as you want simply, and that may be give you some idea to modelind an auser one without paint effect. it's depende of what level detial you whant

there are 1 pain effect that makes tree ... 10x .. now i can make some model variation by this model 10x :) a lot :D
